Your enemy is right in your house

Jesus said "a man's enemies will be the members of his own household" (Matthew 10:36).

What do you do when the opposition is coming from within your own household? 

What do you do when your own child, spouse, parent, cousin, or best friend is the person the enemy is using to terrorize you?

In those times, you have to make a decision not to let anyone hinder your walk with the Lord. Satan knows exactly what he is doing. Since those people in your house know you personally, meaning they know what makes you laugh or cry, he will entice them to disrespect you.

This will happen sooner or later, and you will become angry, hurt, discouraged, irritated, or overwhelmed.

            In those moments, make sure you hold on to the Word of God and force yourself to believe that He is with you and will work out the situation for your good. And when you survive the venom of the people in your household, you will be able to minister to others who are facing a similar situation.
            Also meditate on these Bible verses.

• “A prophet is not honored in his own hometown” (John 4:44).

• “Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed; neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame;for you will forget the shame of your youth, and will not remember the reproach of your widowhood anymore” (Isaiah 54:4).

• “You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear;and from terror, for it shall not come near you. Indeed they shall surely assemble, but not because of Me.Whoever assembles against you shall fall for your sake” (Isaiah 54:14-15).

• “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn.This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,” says the Lord” (Isaiah 54:17).
