You will be tempted to tell people off

PicturePhoto by Pixabay
Children of the Most High God, you will be tempted to treat mean people the same way they treat you. Isn't that true?

Some people will lie on you and you will feel like confronting them and giving them a piece of your mind. Am I correct?

Although we are followers of Christ, we have to constantly crucify our sinful nature moment by moment.

Your flesh will call you weak for not giving Sister Blue Dress a piece of your mind, but just know that your heavenly Father is pleased when you choose to walk in the spirit instead of strutting around in your sinful nature.

God's perfect will is for us to always do good. 1 Peter 2:15 says, "For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people. Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves (1 Peter 2:15, NIV).

Rewards for doing good
  • You will please God.
  • You will silence the foolish people who speaks ignorantly of you (and God).
  • You will be free of evil.
  • You will be a servant of God.
  • You will be humble.
  • You will stay out of trouble.
