When you don't feel good enough

If you are the type of Christian who is brave and super confident, then this article is not for you. I want to take this opportunity to talk to my Gideon crew, the ones who still tremble when God calls you to do a particular assignment.

I have danced and sang before others many times, but each time I have to do it I get so nervous. But once I am thrust into the deep end, the Lord and I swim together. Meaning, once the music starts to play, the Holy Spirit takes over and have his way.

So, last week I whispered to the Lord within myself. I said, “I’m clueless and don’t know what I’m doing. I don’t feel like I’m good enough.”

I was actually glad when I received immediate feedback in my spirit. The Holy Spirit said, “You’ll never be good enough, but I’m good enough, and I’m working through you.”

What does this mean? God is saying that his ministers will not be perfect, but he is perfect and will do mighty works through them.”

As you can see, my Gideon crew, your weaknesses cannot conquer God’s anointing that is within you. Keep on preparing yourself in the background, so that when you are called to the front you will be ready to deliver what God has birthed in your spirit.
