What is faith? Based on Hebrews 11:1, faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (KJV).
Faith is basically the foundation of our hope, and it gives reality to the things we are believing God for. When we have faith, we are fully persuaded (convinced) that God will accomplish all He has promised to us in Christ.
Protect your hope (faith in God)
Do not allow the enemy to rob you of your hope. Proverbs 13:12 states, “Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life” (KJV). Keep believing the promises you have in Jesus because once you stop living by faith, you are no longer pleasing God.
Faith pleases God
Hebrews 11:6 says, “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”
When we hope in God and obey His Word, He will reward us by giving to us what He has promised to us in Christ.
