Trust God in your painful  trials

Picture
Job stood up and tore his robe in grief. Then he shaved his head and fell to the ground to worship. He said, “I came naked from my mother’s womb, and I will be naked when I leave. The Lord gave me what I had, and the Lord has taken it away. Praise the name of the Lord !” In all of this, Job did not sin by blaming God. (Job 1:20-22)

After the death of all his children, livestock, and employees, Job's response is remarkable. This righteous man received horrible news back to back, yet he chose to praise the Lord!

As Christians, that must be our default reaction in all circumstances because then we will have peace in our minds.

I believe our emotional reactions, justified or not, actually hinder us and cause us to lose sight of God. Listen, after breaking down emotionally,  make it a habit to quickly return to a place of worship, so God's love can embrace you like a blanket.
