While you were upset about not having time to get a hot cup of coffee, or screaming over not making it to work on time, or flipping out because the children left toys around the house, or complaining about not having enough tops to match your jeans, just listen to this encounter I experienced today.
My husband and I met a young man around 2:45 pm. We were talking to him and I noticed he had a peculiar way of speaking. He seemed like a pleasant young man just from talking to him. He shared that he was from Puerto Rico. Then he told us he was in the hospital for eight months a year ago. He said, "I lost my voice. That's why I slur. I was on morphine the whole time and the doctors told my mother I had only two weeks to live." Amazed by his story, I said, "God restored you! " "Yes, He did. And I've shared my testimony in church. People even cry and I ask them why they're crying. I lost a lot of my memory and I don't have much strength in my legs." "What is your name? " I asked. "Angel." "Messenger of God," I responded. "Tell your testimony wherever you go. Preach the Gospel. You are a walking miracle. " The Lord wants us to stop complaining. Things could be much worse. This man, age 28, went down to 85 pounds and was trapped in a hospital bed for eight months. Doctors gave up on him but God stepped in. Jehovah Rapha restored him and the Father is restoring you as well. There is nothing too hard for God. I receive this word for myself. Hallelujah! Jesus, I thank you for healing us. You are mighty! You are loving. You give back to us what was robbed! Hallelujah! |
