Emotional trauma: Receive your healing today

Picture
The Spirit of the Lord is healing His people from emotional trauma.  We pray a lot for physical healing,  which is important.  However,  I want to speak to the people who have experienced trauma in their emotions.

Signs of emotional trauma according to Jacquelyn Cafasso
  • irritability
  • sudden, dramatic mood changes
  • anxiety and nervousness
  • anger
  • depression
  • flashbacks or repeated memories of the event
  • difficulty concentrating
  • altered sleeping or insomnia
  • changes in appetite
  • intense fear that the traumatic event will recur, particularly around anniversaries of the event
  • withdrawal and isolation from day-to-day activities
  • physical symptoms of stress, such as headaches and nausea
  • worsening of an existing medical condition
Jehovah Rapha is present with you right now to take that pain from you.  He saw how they mistreated you and He is aware of how they carved out your dignity,  hope,  joy,  peace,  respect,  to name a few,  leaving you hollow.

Nevertheless,  He wants to heal you.  Ask Him now to release healing in your emotion.

He wants to wipe your tears. He longs to restore you until you are standing in victory.  He desires to turn your darkness into radiating hope and joy.

Jesus is your balm in Gilead. He is applying medicine to your soul now!  Stretch out your hands and receive your miracle.

I know they purposely violated you.  I know you lost your hope and peace. I know they stole from you financially.  They called you all types of evil names. Your friends couldn't or wouldn't help you.  You felt like God abandoned you. You lived in misery for years,  but you are coming out now!

Hebrews 4:14-16 (ESV) states,

Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Then Isaiah 40:1-2 reads,

Speak tenderly to Jerusalem,
    and proclaim to her
that her hard service has been completed, that her sin has been paid for, that she has received from the L
ORD
’s hand double for all her sins.
