Although you have been going through that same issues for years, the Lord wants you to know He remembers you and will bless you (Psalm 115:12).
Sometimes it feels like God is unaware of our painful, drawn out problems. After all, we pray and pray for deliverance and nothing happens.
Then our “strong” faith begins to transform into mush because we are constantly pounded by the same burden.
Well, the devil is a liar. The Lord never forgets us, though it seems like he does. Even Jesus asked, “My God, my God, why have You forsaken me?” (Mark 15:34)
We may cry out in fear or frustration when our trials burn like fire, but that does not mean God is not there with us. Jehovah-Shammah is always there, unwilling to forsake those who call out to Him.
He has heard your cry, seen the injustice you suffered, heard your prayers, saw the betrayal, and witnessed the times you have fallen short.
Nevertheless, God was unwilling to forsake you. Nothing, absolutely nothing can separate you from His love that is in Christ Jesus.
Isaiah 49:15-16 says, “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.
Verse 13 of Psalm 115 also reminds us that God will bless those who fear Him-small and great alike. So if you are feeling small right now, just know God is blessing you (Whether you see the blessings or not).
