The Lord is My Rock![]() Why do we worry? Doesn't the Bible say God will take care of us? Doesn't the Bible tell us that God is our rock, deliver, strength, shield, salvation, and stronghold? This means we are protected, right? When the storms of life come, God is our mountain. A mountain can withstand hurricanes, blizzards, tornadoes, rain, and all other types of devastating climatic occurrences. In our lives, the fierce winds will blow away some of our possessions, the thunder will sound, the leaves and branches will fall, and the blizzards will blur our visions and hinder us from progressing according to schedule. However, Psalm 18:2 (NKJV) lets us know that "The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. |
