We live in a dark world. Just look around you and you will see the darkness even when the sun is shining. Terrorists are beheading people, babies are being aborted, marriages are ending in divorce, church kids are thirsting for sin like its juice, people are plagued with poverty, men and women are afraid to fulfill their God-given purpose, just to name a few.
Yet, although we are surrounded by darkness, we are not terrified. Psalm 27:1 (KJV) states, “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” Keep serving the King and He will be your light and deliverer (Savior) in this dark and evil world. When I say world, I simply mean the people who are choosing to operate in vileness instead of bowing to Righteousness, which is Jesus Christ. The enemy has caused fear to take root in people’s hearts, but God is giving us a route of deliverance now! We Christians are not afraid because God is the strength of our lives. And though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we will not fear any evil, for Jehovah Shammah is with us. We are glowing in His light. We are saved by the Blood of Jesus, snatched from the pit of hell. We have the victory. We have divine strength to endure anything because we can do all things through Jesus who gives us strength. We are bold as lions. Evil has no power over us in the name of Jesus. |
