The easiest way to become wealthy![]() This message is for those who feel poor, whether financially, emotionally, or spiritually. Listen, the world teaches that money, jewelry, fancy cars, and houses make you rich. However, you could possess all those things and still feel deprived. In Acts 3:1, Peter and John were traveling to the temple during the time of prayer when they saw a man who was lame from birth. Someone was actually carrying him to the temple so he could beg from those visiting the temple courts. When the man saw Peter and John, he asked them for money. The Bible says Peter told the man to look at him. When the man gave them his attention, Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk” (verse 6). And guess what, the man walked. Now tell me, isn’t that an example of wealth? To be healed (especially for free), that is incredible and is a sign of prosperity. Peter and John were rich with God’s Spirit and were able to heal others. If you were sick, would you want money or good health? Exactly! In Luke 4:18, Jesus quotes the prophet Isaiah when he says, “The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor” (Isaiah 61:1). That same Spirit that was on Jesus was poured into the disciples and now to us who are saved! Isaiah predicted the miracles Jesus (and His followers) would perform in the future. This is evident in Acts 2:1-4 when the Holy Spirit fell on the disciples. As a result, Peter, who had recently betrayed Jesus because of fear, became courageous and preached the Gospel with power. In Acts 2:16-20, Peter quotes Prophet Joel by saying, “In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.” As a child of God, you can never be underprivileged. God will always give you the power to get wealth (Deuteronomy 8:18), health, peace, joy, love, money, and whatever else you need. Follow the Holy Spirit and accept God’s definition of wealth instead of the world’s materialistic version. You have the supernatural God living inside of you. Listen to His voice and He will cause your cup to always overflow with blessings. Previous article: Here is a word of encouragement for those who are facing massive spiritual attacks |
