Stop weeping over that situation you are currently facing. Also, tell those people around you (your mourners) to stop grieving over what is happening to you.
When Lazarus died, Jews came along to weep with Mary and Martha. Then they helped the sisters bury their brother, Lazarus (John 11). You remember that, right? Some of the people around you, including yourself, are relating more to ‘dead’ things’ instead of rejoicing in the abundant life Jesus has provided for us. The truth is, you and your team of mourners do not believe in the resurrecting power of Jesus (spiritually speaking). In John 11:37, some of the Jews said, “Could not he opened the eyes of the blind man have kept this man from dying?” They presumptuously assumed Jesus had failed Lazarus and his family. But in the end, Jesus did in fact raise Lazarus from the dead. Right? During this new season of your life, you have to get connected to God-fearing people. Surround yourself with individuals who will speak life back into your situation, individuals who won’t dig graves for your circumstances and shake their heads at you as they mock God. Stop weeping over what you think is deceased because our God is a God of the living, not the dead. He has given you His mighty Word. Therefore, use the Word to perform CPR in those dead areas of your life. God is waiting for you to roll the stone from your broken dreams, shattered marriage, dysfunctional home, cluttered mind, fearful heart, and wounded spirit. When you step out on that kind of faith, your dreams, marriage, home, mind, heart, and spirit will step out of the tomb and will live in Jesus.
