Ways to get your prayers answered: Ask, Believe, Receive, and Forgive

Picture
Do you want your prayers answered? Well, Jesus Christ clearly explained how we can obtain that.

In Mark 11:24, our Savior states, "I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.

But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too.”

Did you see that? Let's break this down.

First,  we can pray (talk to God) about anything. Don't ignore God or just talk to yourself and others. Talk to the Sovereign God!

Second, we must believe that God has sent our answered prayers after we have called out to Him. We cannot be double-minded. We must pray and keep our minds on the answer (the thing being asked for), knowing it is coming on time to us.

Third, we must forgive everybody. I know they aimed at destroying you, but you must move on. You don't have a choice.

If you want to be closer to God, if you want your prayers answered, if you want your sins forgiven, and if you want to effectively resist spiritual wickedness,  you must quickly forgive people. Listen, when you hold grudges, you invite evil forces to torment you beyond what they should.
