Fasting and praying are essential in our personal walks with the LORD as well as in our prophetic ministry.
Last year (2019), my husband and I decided not to eat meat in 2020. We had no idea the virus would hit our nations. According to the news and our personal experiences, there is a shortage on meat. This reminds me of the verses I've read in Amos, Revelation, Lamentations, etc., about famine (spiritually and naturally). I'm thankful that the LORD has been training me how to eat (including when NOT to eat as a form of discipline). We are living in the last days. Pray attention to the signs. Prayer: Heavenly Father, we love and adore You. Please forgive us of all our sins in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Father God, give us wisdom, knowledge, understanding, discerning of spirits, love, peace, and patience. Help us to accurately discern the signs of the time we are living. Open our eyes, ears, minds, hearts, spirits, and souls to You, Father God. I cover all of us with the Blood of Jesus Christ. Send Your angels to assist us, Father. I soak this prayer, our progress, properties, and us with the Blood of Jesus Christ. Amen. Bible verses on famine: Amos 8:11-12 “Behold, the days are coming,” declares the Lord God, “when I will send a famine on the land— not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord. They shall wander from sea to sea, and from north to east; they shall run to and fro, to seek the word of the Lord, but they shall not find it. Luke 21:11 There will be great earthquakes, and in various places famines and pestilences. And there will be terrors and great signs from heaven. Matthew 24:7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. Genesis 12:10 Now there was a famine in the land. So Abram went down to Egypt to sojourn there, for the famine was severe in the land. Lamentations 5:10 Our skin is hot as an oven with the burning heat of famine. Revelation 6:6 Third Seal: Scarcity on Earth 5When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come and see.” So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales[c] in his hand. 6And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A [d]quart of wheat for a [e]denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.” "The word rendered "penny," δηναρίον dēnarion - Latin, denarius - was of the same value as the Greek δραχμή drachmē, and was equivalent to about fourteen cents or seven-pence (circa mid-19th century). This was the usual price of a day's labor, Matthew 20:2, Matthew 20:9." Biblehub.com |
