![]() God is changing your name. You will no longer be known by what you have done but will be recognized by what God is completing in you (Philippians 1:6). Isaiah 43:1 reads, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.” A redeemer is a person who brings honor and blessings to something or someone “again”. Now, the word redeem means to make something that is unpleasant more acceptable. It also means to buy back. When you cry out to the Lord for salvation, He will redeem you and transform your life. One of these transformations actually happens with your name. In Genesis 17:5-6, the Lord changed Abram’s name to Abraham and promised to make nations out of him. Later in verse 15, God also said to Abraham, “As for Sarai your wife, you are no longer to call her Sarai; her name will be Sarah.” Finally, in Genesis 32:24-28, Jacob’s name was changed to Israel. God is calling you by a name that He placed inside of you before you were even conceived. As you begin to spend more time with your Heavenly Father, that name will echo throughout your spirit like flowing river water. Then you will be reformed into the image of Christ. Listen for that name because when you hear it, you will bow down in worship. You will fulfill the mission the Father placed in your spiritual DNA before your birth, and you will attain greatness and win many souls for the Kingdom of God. Starting today, your name is no longer
