Sometimes we simply become faint. That is just part of life. God knows this, so He lets us know in Jeremiah 31:25 that He “will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.”
Also, Proverbs 11:25 reminds us that “A generous man will prosper; he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed.”
The word weary means to become physically and mentally exhausted or fatigued by hard work. People who are weary become impatient and dissatisfied (Galatians 6:9, Isaiah 40:29-31).
The word prosper means to grow strong and healthy, to flourish physically, to thrive, to bloom, to blossom, to progress, and to be successful.
Also, the word refresh means to give new strength or energy, to reinvigorate, to revitalize, to revive, to restore, to fortify, to enliven, to stimulate, to freshen, and to energize.
The Lord is releasing strength and restoration to His hardworking people (those who have been serving others endlessly). If you have been laboring for the Lord but have become discouraged, overwhelmed, frustrated, angry, impatient, and weak, open up your mouth and speak the Word.
When you do that, His Word actually releases strength to you. Begin to praise and worship God for who He is and you will be restored! Your spirit man is always energized. Yes, your spirit man is always READY because it does not breakdown!
Your body is the part of your that becomes burdened; therefore, tap into your spirit and gather strength, refreshment, and restoration. Do it now! You have the key to solve your problems. Just activate your faith.
Holy Spirit, Sweet Holy Spirit, thank You for refreshing and prospering us today by the Blood of Jesus. Amen.
