You have compromised your integrity by shacking up with a man who is not your husband. You have also deceived yourself into thinking that marriage is not a “big” deal.
God is the creator of marriage, and this sacred union is a gift He has given to man. Yes, some people have no desire to be married and prefer to live in celibacy forever. On the other hand, there are others who yearn to be a husband or a wife. Let us make this really simple, if you want to have the blessing of the Lord on your life, get your house in order. Women, Jesus calls the church His bride. Clearly, He is in favor of marriage. He desires for you to be in covenant with a mighty man of God. Jacob worked 14 years so he could have Rachel’s hand in marriage. Does your boyfriend loves you on that level? Raise your standard.
