Hello BeautifulWhen you were a teenager, were you self-conscious of your physical features? Did you regret the size of your nose, eyes, forehead, cheeks, lips, legs, or ears? How about your beauty, did you rate your looks above 80 percent, or did you write yourself off as horrid?
Maybe you always had the perfect physical features but you had personal weaknesses that left you feeling vulnerable. Then you found yourself wrestling with a load of insecurities. Did people judge you unfairly until you felt like God couldn't possibly use you in ministry? Receive your encouragement now! Psalm 139:14 says you are fearfully and wonderfully made by God. The Almighty God had a great idea to create you and he did. He made you in his image; therefore, you know you have to be gorgeous, right? Repeat after me. Say________ (State your name) is fearfully and wonderfully made in God’s image spiritually, physically, mentally, and emotionally. You are more than how you define yourself, and you are more than how people perceive you. In March, I heard this in my spirit: No matter what, remember that God loves you no matter how imperfect you think you are, and no matter how imperfect people assume you are. No matter what people say, God knows how messed up you are already (currently). However, he is working on you. Therefore when people insult you, truth or not, God already knows about you! He still loves you and will use you for His glory. You are fearfully and wonderfully made in his image. Confess this in the mirror and in your mind a million times each day. |
