He who refuses correction goes astray

PicturePhoto from Pixabay
He who keeps instruction is in the way of life, but he who refuses correction goes astray (Proverbs 10:17).

Holy Spirit, send humble, loving teachers our way to teach us what You would have us to learn. Cause us to humbly receive instructions from those "sent" teachers, so we will always be in the way of life, not death.

With instructions sent from You, Holy Spirit, we will see life in our spirits, minds, bodies, families, relationships, ministries, careers, and dreams.

We receive every correction that is sent from You, Holy Spirit, so we will not be led astray.

Forgive us, Holy Spirit, for refusing Godly instruction in the past. Such unwise decision has caused death to happen in areas of our lives; therefore, forgive us and renew the right spirit within us. Forgive us, also, for going astray, thinking our "own" way was righteous. I bind up those selfish, unwise, stubborn, and deceptive spirits right now in the name of Jesus. Now we will walk humbly, resisting pride, and embracing new truths from You, our Counselor.

All this we pray in the name of Jesus.
