Yahweh-Shalom (The Lord is Peace)
This morning I told my husband that Yahweh-Shalom is our peace. Then when I was making us some ginger tea, I recognized the label on the tea bag said, "Prince of Peace''.
Yahweh-Shalom appears in Judges 6:24. After Gideon saw the angel of the Lord, he was extremely astonished and terrified. The angel perceived that Gideon was afraid so he declared, ''Peace! Do not be afraid... '' (verse 23).
Then Isaiah 9:6 revealed that Jesus (the Child to be born) would be called Prince of Peace. Finally, Isaiah 26:3 states, ''You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.''
Yahweh-Shalom or Jehovah-Shalom means perfect peace, tranquility, wholeness, harmony, completeness, prosperity, welfare, favor, health, security, and wellness.
No matter what is happening in your life right now, I pray that Yahweh-Shalom will fill your mind, soul, and spirit with peace. Cast your cares on Him and make a decision to allow Him to be God instead of yourself.
You do not have the power to solve your problems, but He does. Ask God's Holy Spirit to clothe you with peace in the mighty name of Jesus.
Holy Spirit, OVERSHADOW us with the peace, love, healing, dunamis power, and strength from God Most High in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!
Listen, the enemy will present all of your burdens to you on a platter and offer many reasons why you should take a bite out of worrying.
He will remind you that you do not have all that you want. He will even give you multiple reasons to dislike yourself, your children, your spouse, your job, your business, your ministry, your house, your car, everything.
When that happens to you, start saying, "Yahweh-Shalom is my peace, and He will fill my mind with peace if I keep thinking about Him and His Word. He is also Yahweh-Jireh, my God who sees me and provides. He will take care of me in the name of Jesus."
At that moment, the chains of stress, fear, oppression, destruction, and defeat will break off your life forever by the Blood of Jesus Christ, the Anointing of the Holy Spirit, and the Word of God!
