God is doing a new thing in your life

Picture
Close your eyes. Seriously, close your eyes. Now open them. Just that quick, God is going to do a brand new thing in your life.

However, there is one thing you must do before that “new thing” can happen.

Imagine yourself walking out of your house, closing and locking the door behind you.

That is exactly what we have to do with our past right at this moment.

We must close the door to our past, lock it up, and step into the beautiful new blessings God is offering to us.

Yet, we have to be able to perceive this season of “new blessings.”

Isaiah 43:18-19 reads, “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”

Ask the Lord to scrub the scale of defeat, fear, disappointment, guilt, regret, anger, bitterness, unforgiveness, slave mentality, poverty mentality, etc. from your spiritual eyes, so you can clearly behold the blessings.

Sometimes your promises will look like seeds, but you will need wisdom to see your seeds in the future, see them blossoming and bearing much fruits.

God is “making a way in the wilderness” of your life. He is causing streams to flow in your “wasteland.” This is your new day to shine in the glory of your Father. Say amen. Amen!
