Today in church, I saw a diamond shape on the window, so I decided to look up information about this topic.
Well, after reading some facts about diamonds, I saw their connection to us Christians.
According to one article, "Diamonds are made of a single element—they’re nearly 100% carbon. Under the immense heat and pressure far below the earth’s surface, the carbon atoms bond in a unique way that results in diamonds’ beautiful and rare crystalline structure."
This is similar to us Christians because we go through many fiery situations that God uses to transform us into diamonds (the image of Christ).
Remember, Isaiah 43:2 says, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze." Do you see the connection?
The article also explains that the word diamond comes from the Greek word "adamas," which means indestructible.
Like diamonds, Christians are indestructible because the Blood of Jesus covers and protects us. That is why the Bible says no weapon formed against us will prosper.
By the way, no wonder former cultures have worn diamonds on their armors for strength and healing.
Finally, did you know scientists have discovered a planet and a star that are made diamond!
When we put on God's armor, we should imagine ourselves being clothed in diamonds, which represent strength and so much more!
Horrible experiences push you toward God's will for your life
