Comfort, Comfort My PeopleFor all the people of God who have experienced any type of pain physically, emotionally, or spiritually, the Holy Spirit wants to heal you. Bow down before Him today, lift your hands, speak your prayers, and repent of your sins.
Then allow God's sweet Holy Spirit to heal you. He is willing to help you. In the Book of Isaiah 40:1, God says, “Comfort, yes, comfort My people!” The word 'comfort' means to soothe, console, make physically comfortable, offer relieve, and to bring cheer to. God also said, “Speak comfort to Jerusalem, and cry out to her...” What did the Lord want the prophet to cry out and say to Jerusalem? “That her warfare is ended, that her iniquity is pardoned (verse 2). Now that you know your warfare in that particular area is over, begin to praise the Lord Most High (Jehovah Elyon) like King David did in Psalm 30. ~Praise Break~ I will extol You, O Lord, for You have lifted me up...O Lord my God, I cried out to You, and You healed me. O Lord, You brought my soul up from the grave; You have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. Sing praise to the Lord, you saints of His, and give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness. ~Prayer~ Heavenly Father, thank You for being a God of mercy, grace, and love. Thank You for comforting Your people, the people who are called by Your name. Thank You for forgiving us of our sins. We praise Your name forever in the name of Jesus. Amen.
