Christian teens gone wild

Be careful. As you grow in the Lord and go deeper in Him, the enemy will go after your children viciously. All of a sudden, the children you have raised to love the Lord will begin to speak to you like you are trash on the sidewalk, and they will rebel against God. And guess what, flipping out like Madea will not bring deliverance.

No, you will have to go into spiritual warfare, which does not include your senses. You will have to put on God’s armor and press into God’s presence, interceding for your children like you are praying for someone who has a gun to his or her head.

Pray, praise, and believe the Word of God.

Start claiming these Scriptures. “All [my] children will be taught by the LORD, and great will be their peace (Isaiah 54:13)”, “[You Lord] will turn the hearts of the parents to their children, and the hearts of the children to their parents…” (Malachi 4:6), and [Father, You] will pour out [Your] Spirit on all people. [My] sons and daughters will prophesy (Joel 2:28). Also confess Proverbs 22:6, which says for us to train up our children in the way they should go; and when they are old, they will not depart from it.

Our children cannot completely run away from the presence of God. The Father will eventually direct them back to Him and work everything out for their good.
