To all the Saints who have suddenly lost a bunch of friends, loved ones, and resources, I am here to encourage you.

Naomi felt the same way when she returned to Bethlehem. She had lost her husband and sons; therefore, she had much to say about that.

Naomi's name means pleasantness. But, when her friends exclaimed, “Can this be Naomi?”, she snapped (Ruth1:19), saying, “Don’t call me Naomi,” she told them. “Call me Mara, because the Almighty has made my life very bitter.  I went away full, but the Lord has brought me back empty. Why call me Naomi? The Lord has afflicted me; the Almighty has brought misfortune upon me” (Ruth 1:20-21).

Sometimes we go through seasons where we “feel” like too much have been taken from us, and we get so bitter. Perhaps we prayed to God but He did not rescue us before the battle started. Can anyone else relate to this?

Have you ever prayed against something, but it still happened? Well, that same thing happened to Job.

Truthfully, that is one of the most heart-wrenching experience, praying against something but then it still attacks you.

Our hearts become so heavy and our minds get so dark.

Here is a word for you. All things are working out for your good and God will restore you if you surrender your life to Him again and again.

You might say, “But I'm already submitted to Him.” Great! Then you really don't have anything to worry about. Even with that pain in your heart, you know God is looking out for you and will restore you on His time.

As you wait on Him, God will allow you to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Just wait. He will heal and restore you.

And guess what, you will smile again.
