You see, we live in a world in which you cannot survive without money and other resources. Now, if you have money, you will most likely be taken care of, right?
Well, what happens when your money runs out? Do you have people you can turn to for help? Seriously, do you have someone to assist you when you cannot pay your rent or purchase food for yourself? The Bible tells us in Isaiah 55:1-3 that we can obtain what we need once we turn our lives over to God! Praise the Lord! Are you thirsty and exhausted from trying to work things out in your life, but still ending up falling short? Come to God and let Him pour rain upon your thirsty (unsuccessful or painful) circumstances. Are you tired of not being able to afford what you need? Come to God because His provision for you will be free. You won’t have to sell your soul or your self-respect to receive blessings from Him. When you give God permission to supply your needs, and when you surrender fully to Him, you will never be thirsty and desperate again (John 4:15)! “Is anyone thirsty? Come and drink-- even if you have no money! Come, take your choice of wine or milk-- it’s all free! 2 Why spend your money on food that does not give you strength?
