Are you an effective leader?

Deuteronomy 23:13 tells us that "LORD will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the LORD your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom."


In order to be the head, you have to learn how to become a great leader. John C. Maxwell, an amazing instructor, teaches laws of leadership. His first law is called The Law of the Lid. Maxwell explains that your leadership ability is determined by your level of effectiveness. 


"Your leadership ability always determines your effectiveness and the potential impact of your organization." For instance, if you're an 8 on a scale of 1 to 10, you're effectiveness as a leader will not be above a 7. Also, if you're a 4, your effectiveness will be less than 3.


Therefore, we have to increase our knowledge of leadership. Thus, our effectiveness will increase! Then we can be the head and not the tail,  and constantly at the top, not at the bottom.
