Justice deals with righteousness, fairness, integrity, and uprightness. Isaiah 30:18 and Isaiah 61:8 declare that God loves justice.
When we are serving God, and we encounter disappointing situations, just know He is a God who will grant us mercy as well as justice.
Deuteronomy 10:18 reminds us that God “executes justice for the orphan and the widow…” Also, Psalm 140:12 says, “I know that the LORD will maintain the cause of the afflicted and will execute justice for the needy.”
No matter what we are facing today, just remember God will be merciful to everybody, even to the wicked. However, He is still a God of justice.
He will fight for us and prepare a table before us in the presence of our enemies. Everything that was snatched from us, God will allow us to recover because He cares about those who have been ill-treated. This is why He will use justice to even the score (Isaiah 11:4).
Mediate on Isaiah 35:3-4 and believe that God will not only deal with those who have mistreated you but will repay you for all the injustice you have ever endured.
Strengthen the feeble hands,
steady the knees that give way;
4 say to those with fearful hearts,
“Be strong, do not fear;
your God will come,
he will come with vengeance;
with divine retribution
he will come to save you.”
